Filmic: of, pertaining to, or characteristic of motion pictures
Pulp: the soft, juicy, edible part of a fruit.
More? Well, these are movie reviews written by a guy named Evan Pugh (for more info on this dirty whore, see the contacts page) who likes movies and had a revelation during Apocalypse Now that he should probably start writing this shit more thoroughly. So he got a steno pad from the store and started taking notes during films. Has it started to help? Who the fuck knows, only more writing generally helps writing.
Now, he (I) realizes that there is a lot of swearing in these reviews. However, after going through one thick fucking (see?) season of heavy-handed authorship, he swung the pendulum back towards conversationalist writings… And this is how he talks when he’s passionate about something. If it bothers you, just think that he’s not saying “fuck” i’m saying “frick” or something else the FCC would love for him to choose.
I guess you could call it Gonzo Journalism. But that seems a bit trite for most tastes. And because he’s no Hunter S. Thompson. Or Bukowski. Or, fuck, anyone actually decent.
Anyway.
Enjoy.

That’s a good idea. If you’re not on YouTube, then you should be. We have a “Director’s” category on YouTube. And these people are getting noticed. There is a lot of talent and a lot of part time and amateur actors have vlogs or series on the Tube. There also is a chance to become a “Partner” and share in the ad revenue. Tay Zonday has 2.2 million channel views, 18,000 friends, and 30,000 subscribers. His music videos average 200,000+ views. CR views are in the millions. He’s huge on the internet and he just released a remix album which is selling like mad.
